X-Particles Project – Volume Noise

X-Particles Project File - Volume Noise

Here’s another X-Particles project file. I rendered with Cycles 4D, which is my favorite render engine for any X-Particles project.

In one of the latest releases of Cycles 4D, Insydium introduced a new feature: animated volume noise. That means that we can animate the evolution of a noise. That feature is powerful. And it’s also surprisingly quick to render. I will play a lot with that in the future.

Another feature that we use in the project is the XpInfectio modifier. XpInfectio drives a vertex map, which in turn drives the appearance of a material in Cycles 4D. All with the help of the XpWetMap tag.

You can tweak this project in many different directions. The downloaded file could hopefully work as inspiration for you to take it one step further.

Have fun with it.

Feel free to make some X-Particles requests if there’s something particular you’re struggling to learn.

How to use the downloaded files

Use the project files as inspiration, or starting points for new projects. Feel free to use for commercial or personal use. Hopefully they’ll come  to good use.
