XParticles Growth System
Download Cinema 4D Project File – XParticles Growth System. The growth effect is made using the spawning modifier: XpSpawn.
Self spawning can generate an excess of particles that could crash your computer, but we can control them using the mapping features in the modifier. We map the spawning amount to the emitter’s smoke data channel under the physical attributes.
The flocking is created with XpConstraints. In the connections tab, we can use the “custom” option for some interesting springy results. This is rendered with Cycles4D, but you can easily change that to Redshift or Octane for example. I hope you find some use for the techniques.
